“Quiet at first…”
.
Hey there! I’m Connor Wilson, the guy behind Turbine Traveler.
By trade, I’m a wind turbine technician, climbing high above the ground to help keep the world spinning a little cleaner. By heart, I’m a traveler, a thinker, and someone who finds meaning in the quiet spaces between work and the open road.
This blog is where my worlds meet — the grit of the job, the stillness of nature, the conversations with strangers, and the small victories of RV living. Whether I’m on standby at a remote site or installing a new water heater in my camper, I try to find purpose in the process and stories in the everyday.
I write to document, to reflect, and to share the beauty and boredom, the freedom and frustration, that come with this nomadic life.
You’ll find tech projects, travel logs, personal reflections, and the occasional cowboy hat moment.
